Today we started a new project in science. Students are going to track their inherited traits though their family tree. We are hoping to get pictures of parents, grandparents, and hopefully great-grandparents. The kiddos will use these pictures to create their trait tree!
The students made a list of the traits that they would like to track. We will get started on making our tree on Tuesday. Please make sure that pictures are in by then. Feel free to e-mail me pictures to print if you need to.
As a kiddo of a single parent home, I know that pictures from both sides of the family are not always attainable. I told the students not to worry, we will use the pictures they could get their hands on!
This is will be an in class project that will be due on Friday, May 17th.
