We did it! We made it through the very first year at Elsa England! I am so proud of how far we have come as a school AND as a class.
Here is what our final week will look like!
The name of the game is REFLECTION this week. We will spend a lot of time looking back on what we've accomplished and how we can share this knowledge with the incoming class of fourth graders.
Language Arts
Right now students are making book billboards for the best book they read this year. These billboards will be posted at the beginning of the year as suggestions for our new kiddos. We are also going to read The Important Book by Margaret Wise Brown. Students will then write their own important book about fourth grade!
Math
How long is a school year? What a great question! This week students will use problem solving skills to find out just how long a school year is in seconds, minutes, trips to the bathroom, and etc. We might even throw in some math basketball, too!
Science and Social Studies
We are going to spend time today reflecting on all that we have learned in these two subjects. Students will then create an ABCs project on a topic of their choosing.
Friday
We are hoping to play some Minute to Win it games on Friday during our party. We are going to find time to fit in some practice this week. We talked about how it didn't go so smoothly last time we tried to play. The kiddos know that their choices this week will decide if they get to play at the party. Hopefully we will be able to!
Fourth Grade 411
-Please remember to send a reusable bag to school. I am going to send home supplies throughout the week!
