Good Morning!
We have a long week ahead of us! I will be hard to reach on Tuesday and Wednesday, due to the STAAR assessments. If you need me for any reason, please send me an email and I will check it as soon as we have completed administering the tests.
STAAR
Today, we are going to take some time decompressing, answering any questions, and reviewing what testing days will be like. Please remember students need plenty of sleep the night before, a healthy snack for testing, and lots of encouragement. For snack, please pack something healthy that will not leave any 'leftovers' on their fingers or answer documents. Some good options are goldfish crackers, pretzels, dried fruit, or graham crackers. Please do not pack chips, candy, or messy fruit.
The Alamo
I can't believe it's finally here - again! It seems like just yesterday we were in a mad rush trying to nab another date for our field trip. We were so lucky to get the only remaining opening for the rest of the year!
It is very important for students to be prompt on Thursday morning. We would like to leave EEE no later than 7:30 that morning. Students are allowed to bring electronics on the trip, however all students are responsible for their own belongings. All electronics should be kept on the bus where they will not be as easily lost. We will send home a check list of things to remember to bring on Wednesday. We will arrive back at EEE potentially around 6:30 p.m. Please check my website for updates that day. It's much easier for me to post updates to the blog than it is to email every single parent. I will keep you posted on our whereabouts as much as possible.
