Weekly Update 4/21-25

Good Afternoon

It's that time again! We have our final round of STAAR testing on Tuesday and Wednesday. Yay! We spent the day playing review games and going over the expectations for tomorrow. It was calm and relaxing :)

This is what Thursday and Friday will look like:

Language Arts & Science
This week, we are starting a FANTASTIC project on animals and how they survive in their environments. We have a guest speaker from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services on Friday to kick-start our project. I don't want to give away too much yet, but it's going to be GREAT!

Math
Our next unit will cover measuring angles. We have already learned how to identify angles and the properties of angles. In this unit, we will talk about the units of measurement used to measure angles, tools used to measure angles, and how different sized angles fit together.

Texas History
Texas has joined the Unites States, but is everyone happy about it?
