It's here! It's finally here!
On Tuesday and Wednesday students will take the STAAR Writing assessment.
And then we never have to look at a revising and editing passage again :o)
Here is what our week is going to look like...
Monday
-Regular day
-No homework! Whoopee!
-A review for our math test went home. It's not required!
-Students should get plenty of sleep tonight.
Tuesday
-STAAR Writing assessment
Wednesday
-STAAR Writing assessment
Thursday
-Regular day
-Review for our math test on Friday
Friday
-Geometry assessment (easy peasy)
-Library
STAAR
Snack
Please be sure and pack a nutritious snack for your kiddo. Please do not pack a snack that will leave lots of residue on the kiddos fingers. Also, would you please refrain from putting ice in water bottles- this way they don't leak everywhere.
Review
Most kiddos took home their writing journals to review tonight. Feel free to go over notes and any papers sent home. Please DO NOT spend a lot of time stressing or writing new pieces. Tonight should be as stress free as possible.
Test Day
Please make sure that your kiddos get to school on time. I would hate for someone to feel 'off' because they came in late.
After Wednesday - we're done! We will move on to persuasive writing next week.
