First Day!

The kiddos are off to lunch right now. We've made it this far without any meltdowns or injuries :)

I've only gotten a few pictures from our day. We've spent A LOT of time trying to go through all our supplies. We're having a lot of fun chatting and getting to know each other. 

Here's Mr. Grubb explaining the recess expectations. It is HOT out here. It makes for some smelly fourth graders :) 

I FINALLY let them go through their supplies. We're finishing up getting everything organized and labeled. It's worth spending all this time in the long run. 

I have a few things to share with you...

- I am sending home another white packet for you to go through. This packet is NOT the same as the one from Thursday night. This one has very important papers that we will need back as soon as possible.

-Please take time to review the bus information with your kiddo tonight. Most of our kiddos do not know what bus they are supposed to be on this afternoon. https://www.roundrockisd.org/busroutes/

-Tomorrow we will decorate our writer's notebooks. If you forgot to bring any supplies today, you can still bring them tomorrow.

-We don't have very many tissue boxes right now. I'm confident we will run out quickly with this high allergy count. Any donations would be GREATLY appreciated. Please grab the Kleenex or Puff brand since they are softer on little noses.

-Many kiddos did not receive a pencil box in their school supplies that they purchased from the school. I don't think it was part of the purchase. Please make sure you pick up a pencil box for your kiddos this week. They will use it every day!

-Since it's so hot outside, don't forget to grab the deodorant before you leave the house in the morning. :)
