Good Afternoon!
I have a few things I want to remind you of for next week...
1) Phil Bildner will host a writing camp on Wednesday next week just for fourth grade. If you would like to purchase a book to be autographed, you need to turn in your form by tomorrow. Students also have the chance to have lunch with the award winning author. Students need to submit a letter to Mrs. Kupersztoch, our librarian, about why they should be chosen to have lunch with Mr. Bildner. All persuasive letters are also due tomorrow.
2) Don't forget we have a science assessment on Tuesday! See my post of review activities to help your child study for the test.
3) Reading logs need to be ready to turn in on Wednesday. Only a few days left to catch up!
4) Several of you asked me for log in information for Khan Academy. The school does not provide a log-in for your child for this resource but, it's easy and free to create one at home. Students can download the app through Google Chrome Store (I showed them how on Friday) and use their school email as part of their log-in information. Khan Academy is a GREAT resource if you are looking for challenging materials for your child OR if you need to provide some extra review at home!
5) I would like to create lab coats for our science experiments. I'm sure some of you have noticed that our experiments can get kind of ...messy :) Please have your child bring in dad's old white t-shirt that we can use. These lab coats will help protect the clothes you've spent lots of money on! A big thanks to Mrs. Wyatt for providing 9 extra shirts for us!
Let me know if you have any questions!
